Walking To Live Well

Do you walk? Intentionally?

For exercise? For stress relief? For nature?

Do you walk alone? With a friend or partner? With a pet?

How much time do you walk?

With or without music or podcasts etc?

Rain or shine?

Do you pause along the way or do you power walk? Stroll?

Do you have a regular route or do you try new places?

Do you have mobility issues or health issues that impede your walks?

How do you manage this?

We all know walking has great benefits, but is it a contemplative practice?

Traditional walking meditation is not so much about walking, but about paying attention.

And the benefits are enormous.

Walking as a meditation and "making it your own" is also greatly beneficial.

Can you be with yourself and take in nature and anything else you see?

Can you become the observer and be present?

Can you simplify your day by being an "easy walker?"

Consider your relationship to walking as a tool for healing and renewal.
